Born on October 7, 1946, in New Britain, Connecticut, to John and Jennie Costa (nee Signoretta), Sebastian's life was marked by his unwavering devotion to his loved ones and his profound sense of duty to those around him.

Sebastian's journey led him to Bayonne, New Jersey, where he shared his life with his beloved wife, Rosanne Costa (nee Mugrace). Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and mutual respect, and together they raised two daughters, Michelle Costa and Tracy, the latter married to Ian Antonoff. Sebastian was a cherished grandfather to Sam Costa Antonoff, and he took great joy in every moment spent with his grandchild. The Costa family was the cornerstone of Sebastian's world. He was a loving brother to Elizabeth DeGiorgio and her husband Pasquale, Rita Costa and her husband Rich Bruno, Antoinette Costa, and Joanne Petti and her husband John. His role as an uncle was one he treasured deeply, leaving a lasting impact on his many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.

Sebastian's Christian values guided him throughout his life, providing a strong moral compass that influenced all who knew him. He was a respected member of his community, both professionally and personally. After earning his Bachelor's Degree, Sebastian built a career as a diligent accountant, where his integrity and meticulous nature were greatly valued. His colleagues respected him for his thoroughness and his commitment to his work, which he balanced with his family life and personal interests. 

Sebastian was the epitome of a family-oriented individual. His life revolved around family gatherings, shared meals, and the countless small moments that create a rich tapestry of family life. Those who knew Sebastian will remember him for his sense of humor and ability to always make his family laugh. His generosity, whether big or small, did not go unnoticed, and they have left an indelible mark on the hearts of his family and friends. As we remember Sebastian A.
