Robert Mahnken

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Mahnken, who left this world on January 30, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on June 3, 1953, in Bayonne, New Jersey to Harry & Audrey (nee Wilson) Mahnken, Robert was a beloved member of his community and cherished by all who knew him.

As the proud co-owner of The Tux Shop in Bayonne & Hoboken, Robert dedicated his life to serving others with kindness and care. He was known for his vibrant personality and his ability to make every customer feel like a valued friend. His passion for his work and his unwavering commitment to his craft left a lasting impression on countless individuals.

Robert is survived by his devoted family, including his sister-in-law Margaret Mahnken, and brother Joseph & his wife Joanne Phillips. He was also a treasured uncle to his nieces and nephews, Michael & his wife Melissa Mahnken, Christopher & his wife Melissa Mahnken, Nicole & her husband Chris Fellhauer, Natalie & her husband Kevin Buckalew, Brittney & her husband Alain Seraphin, Joseph & Jaden Phillips, and Joseph & Nicholas Nascimento, as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews, He is pre-deceased by his brother, Harry Mahnken.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation Monday, February 3, 2025, from 4-8 PM. Funeral Tuesday 10AM from the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C, Bayonne. Funeral Mass 11AM at St Mary, Star of the Sea, Roman Catholic Church. Cremation private.
