Richard J. Grysko

Grysko, Richard J., 75, of Bayonne, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.  Beloved husband of Deborah (nee Van Natta) Grysko.  Loving father of Karen & her husband Tommaso Fiermonte and Eric Grysko & his wife Karen Hawkinson.  Cherished grandfather of Alessandro and Oliver.  Dear brother of Gary & his wife Diane Grysko.  As a Principal Engineer for PSE&G, Rich enjoyed each day of his over 50-plus year career.  He was a proud Navy Veteran having served in the Vietnam War where he earned several medals for his service.  Known for his kindness, he was a go-to guy.  He was an avid kite-flyer, fly-fisher, flea market wanderer and errand master.  He loved spending his Sundays at the movies with his wife Debby and rooting for his grandson at his ice hockey games.  Rich not only leaves behind his immediate family, extended family and friends, he leaves a legacy of love, hard work, perseverance and dedication. Funeral Tuesday 9:30AM from the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C, Bayonne.  Funeral Mass 10:30AM St. John Paul II Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  Friends will be received Monday 4-8PM.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to VA New Jersey Healthcare System, Lyons Campus, 151 Knollcroft Road, Lyons NJ 07939.
