We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Paul Thomas Bezak. Paul left us peacefully on November 8, 2025, succumbing to natural causes at the venerable age of 97. Born on April 8, 1928, in Bayonne, NJ, Paul's journey through life was marked by his unwavering spirit, enduring kindness, and the love he shared with those around him.
Paul was a man of honor and served his country valiantly in the Korean War as a member of the United States Army from October 1950 to September 1952. Upon his honorable discharge, he returned to his hometown, where he soon began a lifelong career with the Singer Sewing Company. His dedication saw him through over four decades of service, during which he formed lasting friendships and left an indelible mark on his colleagues.
A devoted Christian, Paul's faith guided him through the joys and trials of life. His commitment to his beliefs was evident in the way he lived, always striving to embody the principles of kindness, charity, and love.
Paul's love story with his beloved wife, Anna Marie Bezak, was one for the ages, a testament to unwavering companionship and mutual respect. Although Anna Marie predeceased him, their love continued to resonate in Paul's heart and in the family they built together. He was a cherished father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His family includes his predeceased daughter, Lisa Ann Constantine, and her husband Leslie, along with their sons, Leslie Paul Constantine and his wife Jennifer, and their children Riley and Peyton, and Liam Constantine with his wife Lexi, and their sons, Theodore and Stefanos. Paul also leaves behind his daughter Lori Ann Stergion, her husband Stephen, and their children, Christopher and Hallie. His daughter Leslie Ann Kelly, predeceased by her husband John Kelly, and their daughters, Hannah & her fiancé Ryan Gulizio and Jenna, Jenna's husband Trevor Close, and their children, AJ and Raegan Rose.
Paul was a proud graduate of Bayonne High School, where he laid the foundation for a lifetime of learning and personal growth. His education was not confined to the classroom; he carried his love for learning throughout his life, always curious and eager to explore new horizons.
Paul's interests were as rich and varied as his life experiences. He found joy in the simple pleasures of tending to his garden, where he spent countless hours nurturing flowers and vegetableswith the same care he showed to his family. Crabbing with his children and a lifelong friend was one of his favorite pastimes, as was his daily walks, during which he would often find treasures to add to his collections. Paul's love for cooking was renowned among his family, especially his skill in making delicious soups that warmed both the body and soul. In quieter moments, he could be found engrossed in his favorite Westerns, or solving mysteries alongside Matlock, Perry Mason, and Walker, Texas Ranger.
Paul's legacy is not just in the memories he leaves behind, but in the lessons of love, resilience, and generosity he imparted. His life was a tapestry woven with threads of dedication, service, and an enduring commitment to his family and faith. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
