Mildred Angello

Mildred Angello, a beloved wife, sister, aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt, and great-great-great aunt, passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 97. Born on June 4, 1929, in Jersey City, NJ, Mickie enjoyed her career at MetLife and was cherished as a friend by many. 

Mickie was a vibrant presence in the lives of those around her. She was a devoted member of the Rosary Society at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, where her faith and compassion touched countless hearts. Her love for animals, passion for travel, and enjoyment of Broadway shows brought joy not only to her own life but also to the lives of her friends and family. She especially cherished the enjoyment of Broadway shows and dining out, creating many wonderful memories along the way. She actively participated in the Senior Center in Bayonne, forming many cherished friendships and sharing laughter with those she adored. 

Mildred was predeceased by her beloved husband, Salvatore Angello, with whom she was married almost 60 years, her beloved brother, Joseph Lupo, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends & family to be received Friday 10:45-11:30 at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, directly followed by a funeral mass starting at 11:30. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum.Mildred's legacy of love and friendship will continue to inspire those she touched throughout her remarkable life. She will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
