Margaret Hull passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 12, 2024. She was a lifelong resident of Bayonne, NJ before moving to Manalapan, NJ to be closer to her grandchildren. She was born on June 23, 1949, to the late Andrew and Margaret McAleer (Smith). Margaret's life was a testament to the strength and resilience of the human spirit as she faced numerous health challenges with unwavering courage.
Margaret was a proud alumna of Horace Mann, class of 1963, and Bayonne High School, class of 1967. She was the loving sister to her late siblings, Leo Ahern, Donald Ahern, Eugene Ahern, and Kathleen "Honey" Cenimo and she carried the memory of her beloved boxer dogs, Rocky and Gatti close to her heart.
Family was the cornerstone of Margaret's life. She was the devoted mother to her daughters, Morgan and husband Robert Matuch, and Kimberly and husband Joseph Dwyer. Above all, Margaret cherished being "Grammy" to Joey, Jordyn and Kendra. Her love for her family was boundless, she leaves behind a legacy of love and treasured memories in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews.
Margaret's interests were a reflection of her loving and friendly nature. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, going to the beach and doting on her grandchildren. Her home was always filled with laughter, stories, a cup of coffee and the kind of love that leaves a lasting imprint.
As we bid farewell to Margaret, we celebrate a life that was truly a gift to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She has left behind a beautiful tapestry of moments that her family will hold dear, a narrative of a life filled with love and resilience. Though Margaret's journey has come to a close, the stories of her kindness, her courage, and her devotion to her family will continue to resonate with all who were touched by her. The family would like to thank the medical health community for their dedication, patience and professionalism; especially Dr. Iyengar for his compassionate care, words of wisdom and support.
