Lucille Hrychynszyn

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lucille Hrychynszyn, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left us on July 15, 2025, at the age of 69. Lucille was born on November 27, 1955, in Bayonne, NJ, to Henry & Marie (nee Merola) Lapinski.

A dedicated hairdresser by trade, Lucille took immense pride in her work, serving her clients with creativity and passion from her own salon. Her warm personality and genuine care for each person she encountered made a lasting impression on those she served.

Lucille is survived by her loving husband, Robert Hrychynszyn; her cherished son, Michael Hrychynszyn; and her beloved granddaughter, Katelynn Hrychynszyn. She also leaves behind her brother Henry Lapinski, her sister Theresa Zitzman, her brother-in-law John and his wife Carol Hrychynszyn, as well as her sisters-in-law Marianne Guagenti and Mabel Kavula. She is predeceased by her dear sister, Rosemarie Lapinski. Lucille's family was her greatest treasure, and she filled their lives with love, joy, and laughter.

Friends & family will be received Monday, July 21, from 2-6 PM at the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C, Bayonne, where a service will take place during the viewing. Cremation will be private.

In this time of sorrow, we remember Lucille not only for her vibrant spirit and kindness but also for the cherished moments we were lucky enough to share with her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
