Vida, John A. of Bayonne passed away at Bayonne Medical Center on Saturday September, 7, 2024. Beloved husband of Florence "Mary" (nee: Ryan) Vida. John and Flo "Mary" just celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary. Loving father of John Vida & his companion Janet Lohrmann, Lois Vida, Elizabeth Egan & her husband John and the late Florence Vida, Barbara Rokicki & her husband John, Patricia Packer and George Vida. Dear father-in-law of Kathy Vida and Joseph Packer. Devoted brother of James Vida and his wife Rosemarie and the late George Vida. Caring grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 6. Mr. Vida was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, a member of the Western Electric Pioneers Club, and the Boy Scouts of America. John also was involved with the Bayonne Little League for many years. Mr. Vida was a lifelong parishioner of St. Henry’s R.C. Church. Funeral 9:45am Wednesday September 11, 2024 from the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Ave C Bayonne, NJ. A funeral mass to follow at St. Henry’s R.C. Church 10:45. Entombment to follow Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington. Family and Friends are invited to attend the visitation Tuesday 4-8pm.
