Joan P. McDevitt (nee Gaffney), 91, of Bayonne, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband, John Daniel "Jack" McDevitt. Loving mother of Denise Surber, Diane Mosby, Colleen Amadeo, Patricia and her husband Michael Meyers. Cherished grandmother of Timothy and Daniel Surber & his wife Stephanie, James, Nicholas & his wife Lacie, Caitlyn and her fiancé, Alex, and Kristen Meyers. Adored great-grandmother of Aiden Amadeo, Mackenzie Surber, Kinsley and Declan Amadeo.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14th, 2025 from 4:00pm-8:00pm in Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C, Bayonne. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 15th, 2025 at 9:30am in St. Henry's Church R.C., Bayonne. Interment, to follow, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
