Charles E. Chambers Sr., known affectionately to all as Charlie, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2025, at the age of 84 in Jersey City, NJ. Born on December 2, 1940, in Centerville, PA, and a long-time resident of Bayonne, NJ. Charlie grew into a man who was loved and respected by all who knew him.
Charlie is survived by his devoted wife of many years, Carol Aiello Chambers, who has been his steadfast partner in all of life's adventures. Together, they raised a beautiful family that includes their daughter Carolyn Chambers, their son Charles Chambers, and daughter-in-law Melanie Chambers. He was a proud grandfather to Steven and Amanda Chambers, as well as Megan and Kaitlyn Costello, who will all miss him deeply. He is also survived by his sister Becky Koenig and her husband Dave.

Charlie's life was one of dedication and hard work, epitomized by his successful business, 4 C's Auto Body, which he owned and operated with a passion for excellence and a commitment to his community.
An avid fisherman, Charlie found solace and joy in the quiet moments on his boat, rod in hand, and the thrill of the catch. His love for the outdoors was matched by his love for his cherished trips to Hawaii with his wife Carol, where they celebrated their anniversaries and the beautiful life they built together.
Charlie will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His faith-filled life was a testament to his selfless nature, always putting the needs of others before his own. Those who knew Charlie will recall a man of integrity, kindness, and generosity. His warm smile and compassionate spirit made a lasting impression on everyone he met.
As we bid farewell to Charlie, we reflect on a life well-lived, one that was full of love, laughter, and the joy of simple pleasures. We take comfort in knowing that his legacy will continue to inspire us every day. Charlie's memory will be cherished and kept alive in the stories that will be told and retold by those who were fortunate enough to be part of his journey.
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Charlie will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him. Though he may have left this world, his spirit remains an indelible part of the lives he touched. Rest in peace, dear Charlie; your memory will forever be a guiding light for us all.
