Anna Dickey, a cherished beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026, at the age of 96. Born on September 21, 1929, in Bayonne, New Jersey, she lived a full and devoted life.

Anna's early years were marked by a spirited enthusiasm for life that never waned. She grew up in a close-knit family and community. Her Catholic faith was a cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through the ebbs and flows of life with a steadfast heart and unwavering spirit.

Throughout her life, Anna dedicated much of her time to active participation in church activities. Her belief in the power of giving was evident to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

After completing her education, Anna ventured into New York City where she spent her professional career with United States Lines, an international shipping company. She undertook her roles at the company with due diligence and joy, and rose to become executive secretary to the CEO. She often shared stories of the people she met and the lives she touched.

In her personal life, Anna was a treasure to her friends and devoted to her family. Her home was often filled with the aroma of her famous home-cooked meals and cookies.

Anna's later years were spent in the city she loved and grew up in — Bayonne, New Jersey. She remained active in her faith and continued to inspire those around her. As she faced the challenges of age, she did so with the dignity and courage that defined her life.

Anna was pre-deceased by her parents, Andrew and Anna (nee Jura) Dickey, and her siblings Anna Dickey, Mary Dickey, and John Dickey.

Anna is survived by her nieces Jane Webster (Matthew) and Diane McCarthy (Michael), and her grandnieces Elizabeth (Webster) Smith and Caroline Webster. Anna Dickey's legacy of love, kindness, and faith will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. As we say farewell to this remarkable woman, we take comfort in the knowledge that she held a deep abiding faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
