Ann "Nunu" James

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ann "Nunu" James , who left us on June 18, 2026. Born on October 1, 1924 in Bayonne, NJ, Ann was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who's spirit touched the lives of many, and her legacy of love and compassion will forever remain in our hearts.

Ann is survived by her loving daughters, Ellen James Campbell & her late husband Thomas, Jeannine James & her partner Mark Schwartz, and her son, Albert James & his wife Anne. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Marisa Campbell Lepis & her husband Gerald, Jr., Albert James, Lilly James, and Liam James, along with her precious great-grandchildren, Charlotte Lepis, Ella Lepis, and Gerald Lepis, III. Each of them carries a piece of her warmth and wisdom. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert "Whitey" James, mother and father, Paulino and Vincenza (nee Morreale) Vaccaro, siblings, Antonia and James Vaccaro, and great-aunt Josephine Cordaro.

Friends & family to be recieved Monday 4-8PM. Funeral 9AM from the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C, Bayonne. Funeral mass 10AM at The Blessed Miriam Teresa Demjanovich Parish at St Mary Church, followed by an interment Holy Name Cemetery.

May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so generously gave to others.
